Our bags are tailored by women from marginalized backgrounds in the foothills of the Indian Himalayas. In this beautiful region, there are few job opportunities and many are forced to move to cities, away from their traditions and away from nature. Our bags contribute to the training, income opportunity, and a safe working environment amidst the beautiful mountain landscape. In addition, we believe hemp cultivation can be an important source of rural development and income for small independent farmers in the mountains.
