Base ingredients

Probiotic Bacteria

These good bacterias contribute to healthy microbial flora on your skin and scalp. They also make the soap more gentle.

Coconut Oil

A great soap oil that makes the soap rinse and foam. Available in abundance with no environmental concerns.

Water

Very little water is used to make the soap bars, but the water which is used comes from a local water recycling plant.

Lye

The key ingredient for making of real soap. Distilled out of from sodium (salt minerals) or ashes.

The soap bars are made in Auroville, an international township in southern India working for sustainability, peace, and consciousness. The probiotics are grown in-house at the small soap-making unit where people from the nearby villages come to work, receiving a fair wage and a safe working environment.
